How It Works
MyScreen is a syndicated, web-based business tool that seamlessly integrates with your company's existing web site (see Diagram below right). It operates totally in the background as a flexible, easy-to-use business tool for your organization that complements, and integrates with, your other HR and business applications.

- Once implemented, users wishing to submit a background search request login to the system and complete an online form. When completed, the form is submitted via a secure Internet link to the MyScreen system servers.

- The MyScreen system processes the search requests and transmits the request to the appropriate search vendor for the type of search and geographic area required. All data is stored in a secure database and is available for review at any time.

- The vendor receives the search request and conducts the search. Results are entered into the MyScreen system and are then available for review by the user who submitted the request.

- Results are available for viewing over a secure Internet connection. All information is presented dynamically in standard report forms. Individual search results may be viewed as well as overall system management reports to allow tracking of all pre-employment screening activity throughout the organization.

MyScreen systems security is integrated into the software at the base level. Authorization categories are established for all users with permission levels set based on individual access criteria. The system's user and vendor Username and Password protection is supplemented with control logs and transaction logs that record activity within the system.

All user and vendor search transactions, both submissions and retrievals, occur via a secure Internet connection that is protected by Secure Socket Layer 128-bit encryption for privacy. MyScreen utilizes a fully redundant, hot-standby RAID 1 system with mirrored databases to ensure data integrity and immediate data availability in the event of a drive failure. In addition, the hard drives are supplemented with a high capacity tape backup for recovery in the unlikely event of a multiple, simultaneous drive failure or a full Network Center disaster (i.e., fire, storm, flood, deliberate attack).
